CMAS Philippines - Confederation Mondiale des Activites Subaquatiques or World Underwater Federation in cooperation with Seaholic Dive Team, Pacifico Azul Dive Resort and the Mabini Tourism started training to some aspiring locals of Anilao, Mabini, Batangas that was started on May 1, 2021-June 15, 2021 for the candidates to be certified as full pledged Dive Masters for their livelihood.

In this project, proper awareness and technical procedures are being taught on how to handle guest divers to be safe during their stay in the dive haven of Batangas. Proper orientation, knowledge and skills are being enhanced to be able to administer rescue procedures in case a dive accident occurs during dives. Proper orientation and safety procedures should be taken into consideration before and after dives. A step-by-step procedure on how to be a Dive Leader was shared with these Trainees to be equipped as Dive Professionals.

Under the supervision of Mr. Jess Lapid, Jr., a CMAS Philippines Course Director, was given the task by the CMAS Philippines headquarters Technical Committee President Mr. Noel Pura, Mr. Wilson Cruz BOD/Trustee and CMAS Philippines President Ms. Thelma Rodriguez to provide high quality standard of trainings for aspiring Dive Masters.
